AI Statement - Elevated Support Ltd

At Elevated Support Ltd, we’re really excited about the potential of generative AI tools. We think they will help us give even better value for money to our clients as we help them with their business admin!

We’re also aware that with great power comes great responsibility (🕷️), and we want to ensure that our use of gen-AI is transparent, ethical, safe, and effective.

Here’s some more information about how we use it:

Ethical AI Use

  • We’re always open with our clients and partners about how we use AI and when we’ve used it.
  • Anyone who works with us agrees to our AI policy, which is kept up to date with UK data protection law (including the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) and the EU AI Act. The policy was last reviewed in April 2026.
  • We use AI to complement our human expertise, not replace it. All work product that is AI-generated is checked by a human.
  • All of our clients are able to ask us not to use gen-AI tools in our work if they prefer.

Safe AI Use

  • We use AI tools in accordance with our privacy policy and have a specific AI policy that all workers agree to abide by. The policy is regularly updated to account for the fast-moving nature of both the tools and the law around them.
  • We never input personal or identifiable data into AI tools.
  • We don't use AI tools that use our data to train their models.
  • Where AI tools include "agentic" features (the ability to take actions like browsing or sending on their own), we don't enable these for client work without explicit approval and oversight.
  • Our processes include a "human in the loop" checkpoint that ensures any work product that has used AI is checked by a human for accuracy, quality, and bias.

Effective AI Use

  • We use AI to help with content creation, including drafting, research, and idea generation. All AI-assisted content is reviewed and edited by a human before it goes anywhere, and we always disclose when AI has been part of the process.
  • We also build AI-powered tools and systems for clients, including custom GPTs and Claude projects. When we do this, we work with clients to make sure proper data protection and transparency measures are in place.
  • Our use of AI puts our clients at the centre of all we do, as with everything else. We are transparent, ask for permission before using it on behalf of a client, and always try our hardest to ensure that our use of this technology meets and exceeds expectations around data control and privacy.
